Salawaku – Connection

After the design concept of “Salawaku Active Protection trough Compassion” was selected to be part of the Proposals for Municipal Art Acquisitions 2022 – Stedelijk Museum, I felt I had to make a serie of 3 paintings to explore the force fields of the Salawaku, before I could make the real one out of wood.

This second one of three, represents the handle of the salawaku. This is the part where the energy of the Salawaku and the energy of the bearer and owner will come together, and connect.
